Projects & Deliverables
A flexible register for the work your team actually does. Plan deliverables once, then view and manage them however the job demands.
How the pieces fit
A client is who the work is for. A project groups the work for that client. Deliverables are the individual pieces of work inside a project, and they are where time gets tracked and what invoices are eventually built from.
You plan a deliverable once. From there it shows up across four different views of the very same data, so everyone can work the way that suits them without anything falling out of sync.
Four views, one set of work
Switch views without moving anything. The deliverables are the same; only the lens changes.
Table
A dense, sortable list for scanning and bulk edits. The everyday workhorse.
Board
A kanban by status, so you can see what is in progress and drag work along.
Calendar
Deliverables by due date, so deadlines and the month ahead stay visible.
Tree
The project hierarchy, for work that nests into parent and child deliverables. A header bar and a light field picker let you choose which columns show on each row, and sort levels apply through the hierarchy.
Table view: the dense, everyday list.
Board view: the same work, by status.
Calendar view: deadlines across the month.
Tree view: the project hierarchy.
Make the table your own
The table is not fixed. Shape it once and keep that shape with a saved view.
Saved views
Capture a table set-up as a view, switch between views in a tab, set one as your default, and share the useful ones with the team.
Columns your way
Show or hide columns, drag headers to reorder, drag an edge to resize, and pin the columns that matter to the left.
Group and compact
Group by status, priority, assignee, or a custom field, and switch between Compact, Comfortable, and Preview density.
Bulk edits
Tick several deliverables and set status, priority, or assignee in one go, or archive them together with an Undo to catch mistakes.
Everything a deliverable holds
Open any deliverable and it is more than a title. It is where the work is described, owned, and discussed.
Owners and priority
Assign one or more teammates, set a priority from Low to Urgent, and add start and due dates.
Estimated hours
Note how long the work should take, so you can sense-check it against the time that actually gets logged.
A discussion thread
Talk through the work right on the deliverable, with @mentions to pull a teammate in.
File attachments
Drag a brief, a draft, or a final file onto the deliverable so it lives with the work, not in someone’s email. Click an image, PDF, or text file to preview it inline, no download needed.
Shaped to your team
Reusable templates
Save the projects you run again and again as templates, then stamp out a fully structured project in seconds.
Custom fields & statuses
Add the fields your work needs and define the statuses your process actually uses, instead of bending to someone else’s.
Tags
Cross-cutting labels for slicing work that does not fit a single project or status.
Clients in context
Every project and deliverable ties back to a client, so the work, the email, and the invoices all line up.
Archived projects stay readable
Finished with a project? Archive it from the Status menu and it drops out of your everyday list into the Archived filter. It is never deleted: anyone who could see it before can still open it and browse every deliverable, but the whole project turns read-only, with edits and time logging switched off and a banner that says so. An admin or manager can Restore it at any time to pick the work back up.
Why it matters
Most teams end up with one tool for planning and another for everything that follows. In WorkWiser the deliverable you plan is the same deliverable you track time against and bill from. Less double entry, fewer gaps, and a structure that fits your team rather than the other way around.
